RSL Queensland has partnered with the Queensland Department of Education to sponsor the Premier’s Anzac Prize.
The annual Premier's Anzac Prize provides a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for Queensland students and teachers to explore the ANZAC story and legacy.
Prize recipients participate in research, fundraising, community engagement and a tour of Europe, sightseeing and visiting key historical sites including World War I battlefields.
The Premier's Anzac Prize is a unique opportunity for young Queenslanders to gain in-depth insight into the ANZAC legacy through research, workshops, and visits to significant sites on the Western Front (UK, France and Belgium).
Prize applications are open to Queensland high school students and teachers. Student applicants must be in years 8 to 11 at the time of application.
Applications are now open for the 2026 Premier's Anzac Prize.
For Teachers:
2026 prize applications for teacher chaperones are open until Friday 4 July 2025.
For Students:
2026 prize applications for students are open until Tuesday 22 July 2025.
